Geo & Nobi Launches the world most Premium Ice cream in Chennai, Welcome Home HaagenDazs
Luxury brand Haagan Dazs launches its first outlet in Chennai among glitz and glamour. Haagan Dazs known for its unique flavours and decadently rich ingredients sourced worldwide and brought all the way from Arras, France launched the store at Khader Nawaz Khan road in Nungambakkam. The launch was a fashionable affair with Fashion designer Karun Raman choreographing the event which was accessorized perfectly by designer Naziasyed. The event also had a scintillating performance by singer Sunithasarathy besides the free doses of unlimited ice cream for all the guests. Chef Antony David reveals that “the freezers are maintained at an exact 21 degrees Celsius as it’s the best for flavor releasing qualities”. The franchise owner Sam Paul played the perfect host for the evening. This was the seventh outlet for Haagan Dazs in the country.
KFJ Diamond Desire New Year Eve Bash 2013
KFJ marketed their new diamond desire scheme for the public through their New Year Eve’s bash at The Courtyard by Marriot. DJ Sonu of Desi night fame entertained the audience. Geo and Nobi organized a road show and distributed pamphlets for the crowd presented there.
Geo &Nobi organized stall design and fabrication for Savio, an Italian textile machinery company, at the India International Textile Machinery Exhibition (ITME) 2012, which was held from 2nd to 7th December.
Product Design Days 2012, India’s first ever product design expo, was held on 21st and 22nd November, 2012. This international expo organized by Geo & Nobi featured an exhibition and conference by various product designers and design firms from India and other parts of the world – Italy, Japan, France, etc. The event served as a platform for product designers to showcase their products and services. These exhibitors included various design magazines such as Yanko Design (Japan), Pool Magazine (India) and Design42Day (Italy), design firms such as Tycka Design (Bangalore), Studio ABD (Bangalore), and many professionals from the National Institute of Design.
One of the main highlights of the conference was a discussion on “how great product designs evolve” among an esteemed panel of professionals from the design industry –Mr U. Jayraj Rau (former Senior Vice-President of JWT), Mr Abhijit Bansod (Director, Studio ABD), Mr Aditya Berlia, (Founder & President, Apeejay Stya University) and Mr Shanavas M.S. (Tycka Design). Winning entries of the A-Design and iDesign Awards were displayed in the form of posters as a part of the exhibition.The Courtyard Marriott was the hospitality partner for the event and organized a wonderful cocktail dinner for all the participants.
Buhler is a specialist and technology partner for plant and equipment and related services for processing basic foods and manufacturing high grade materials. Geo and Nobi launched Buhler’s Sortex A5 at the Swiss embassy in Delhi during their 150th anniversary. Buhler participated in the Food and Hospitality expo and Hosts India expo where Geo and Nobi designed an aluvision stall for the exbitions.
Volkswagen showroom launches IPL edition cars in Chennai
TVS Sundaram Motors, the dealer of Volkswagen cars, gave the mandate to Geo & Nobi's experiential marketing division to conceptualise and create a cricket-themed environment for the Volkswagen showroom where the IPL edition cars were launched. The promotion of the IPL edition cars began on April 3 at Mount Road in Chennai and will go on until IPL ends. Commenting on the event, Neeraj Garg, Director, Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India, said: "Brand recall is still a challenge for Volkswagen in India. We hope the IPL will help us reach more people and improve our brand recall."
Geo & Nobi has created a miniature replica of a cricket stadium with cricket accessories including bats, balls, helmets and stumps at the Volkswagen showroom. The miniature stadium is designed with a set of 3D models of audience and players, along with working flood lights. Additionally, Volkswagen will receive brand visibility in TV spots, stadium branding, showroom visual merchandising and out-of-home advertising during IPL-5.
Talking about the initiative, Shashikant Pushpakar, Senior Manager - Experiential Marketing, Geo & Nobi, said: "The brief given to us was to create an experience that would help establish brand connect with its consumers. We engage approximately 50 people per day through this activity. We have also taken up the activation in two more showrooms in Chennai. We have been associated with TVS Sundaram Motors through a pitch process."

The third edition of the Gitanjali Lifestyle Chennai International Fashion Week (CIFW) will take place from April 14-16. Gitanjali Lifestyle Chennai International Fashion Week 3 will showcase the creations of 13 designers across four titled shows with more than 50 male and female models walking the ramp. A special Galatta anniversary show scheduled for April 14 promises to feature several young, successful Kollywood stars.
Speaking on the occasion, Mehul Choksi, Chairman and MD, Gitanjali Lifestyle expressed his delight to be associated with Storm Fashion Company for the CIFW in its third edition.
